Member of Australian Physiotherapy Association
Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours from the University of Otago
Clinical Pilates Instructor
Emily is a compassionate and skilled physiotherapist who brings a unique blend of hospital clinical experience and specialised expertise in Women’s Health and Musculoskeletal physiotherapy. With a career spanning New Zealand, the UK, and Australia, Emily combines the clinical rigor of acute hospital care with a deep passion for rehabilitating the body through every stage of life.
Now dedicating a significant portion of her practice to Women’s Health, Emily is currently progressing through post-graduate studies in the field. She works collaboratively with her colleagues to manage pre- and postnatal care, bladder and bowel conditions, and pelvic pain.
Emily’s broad clinical foundation makes her particularly adept at managing post-operative and post-fracture rehabilitation, as well as neurological and respiratory presentations.
Whether she is helping a client navigate recovery from a sports injury or supporting a new mother through the physical challenges of the postpartum period, Emily’s approach is rooted in her background as a classical and contemporary dancer. She brings a sophisticated understanding of movement, function, and performance to every session, empowering her clients to feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies.
A qualified Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor, Emily believes in a function-focused, patient-centred approach that transitions seamlessly from early-stage rehabilitation to high-performance goals.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find Emily hiking, at the beach, reading, enjoying Pilates, or discovering live music.
