Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my private health fund for physiotherapy?

Yes, we accept all private health funds for our musculoskeletal physiotherapy sessions. Each health fund is different, and we are unable to predict your rebate. Please contact your private health fund provider to understand your coverage.

If you forget to bring your health fund card to your session, we can print a receipt for you to manually claim your rebate from your fund.

Do I need a referral for a musculoskeletal physiotherapy session?

No, you do not need a referral to book a musculoskeletal physiotherapy appointment. Unless you have been injured at work and are claiming through Workcover or are under a GP Medicare plan, you do not need to acquire any referrals or documents before seeing our musculoskeletal physiotherapists.

With that said, if you have any relevant reports or scans, we encourage you to bring them along so we can effectively and holistically treat your current condition.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your appointment, we require 18 hours' notice for any consultations, including musculoskeletal physiotherapy appointments. Cancellations made within the 18-hour notice period may incur a late cancellation fee of 50% of the consultation rate. No-shows or cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment may be charged 100% of the consultation fee.
