Papaya Clinic and Movement Laboratory are sister clinics serving the Inner West community.

Papaya Clinic is an experienced team of pelvic health physiotherapists and naturopaths with a passion for everything women’s health. Movement Laboratory is an established and reputable clinic where equal emphasis is placed between manual therapy and movement. Our pelvic health physiotherapists treat across both locations in Newtown and Leichhardt.

We are always on the lookout for unicorn practitioners. This is our self promise.

We strive to continually learn and update our professional and personal skillsets, we aim to improve health literacy in Australia, and do our part in improving our patient’s health outcomes through movement.

Our team is here to provide innovative solutions and exceptional experiences, and to keep people on their feet so they can continue to do what they love.

We love to connect with and collaborate with amazing people, and we believe in kindness.

Culture is everything, and we genuinely look after each other.

If this resonates, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re here to serve with abundance and integrity

What are we about?

It’s our mission to improve accessibility to pelvic health support for all women and raise awareness of conditions affecting women at all stages of life. Many of these now-proven conditions have been regarded as taboo for too long, due to a lag in research compared to general musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions.

We want to not only provide a clinic space to treat pelvic health issues holistically, but also foster a community for women where they feel empowered to speak up and take control of their health.

Patient Journey Papaya Clinic

Our Core Values

NUTURE

We promise to provide the best support and treatment possible with warmth, transparency, and compassion. We’ll prioritise you and your needs and care for your whole body in a safe, welcoming environment, free from stigma and judgement.

EMPOWER

We want to help you embrace the changes that occur in life’s different stages. By educating you on your diagnosis and its cause, we’ll empower you to proactively manage your condition for the future with self-awareness and self-compassion.

EVOLVE

We’ll continue to advocate for improved accessibility to pelvic health support for all women, raising awareness and reducing stigma on conditions affecting women. In doing so, we hope to spark societal and workplace change for the next generation of women.
